Pyjamas are one of the comfiest forms of dressing. The word pyjama originally comes from Persian origin meaning leg clothing. Their introduction into fashion began several centuries ago when women started wearing pyjama style pants. Eventually sleepwear and everyday style began to mix together as clothing became more informal. Now back on the runway are matching pyjama sets and stand alone pieces.

In my look I’m wearing pyjama inspired silk pants with a basic green tee and rose gold running shoes. This elevates the relaxed style of the pants to a more put together look. The intricate floral pattern and dark colours make this a stand out look.
